My name is Louise Minett.
After a 20 year career on the International scene and a Gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, I'm now available to coach individuals and teams, both able-bodied and paralympic.
“Having performed at the highest levels Louise understands the needs of an aspiring athlete very well. Be it picking the right equipment or coaching she has a wealth of knowledge. I wish her the best for her new venture.”
“Throughout my time with the GB disabled target shooting team, Louise was a constant source of inspiration, deep international competition experience and practical shooting knowledge. She's engaging, positive, forthright and you'll enjoy your time on the range as one of her charges.”
“As Juniors we were on opposing teams, but now Louise's coaching is invaluable! What she doesn't know about shooting isn't worth knowing and if you have a problem she always has a solution.”
“I first met Louise as part of the WTSF shooting team where she was the rifle coach. She brings lots of new and fresh ideas to training and a personalised annual plan have helped me to develop as an athlete.”
“In my shooting career at club, county and GBR levels, I have worked with a total of eight coaches that have called themselves "world class", although Louise is the only coach that has never used that term when describing herself. She is the only coach that truly deserves that title. ”
“I met Louise at a Paralympic Talent ID Day at Brunel University, and I was immediately impressed with her calm and patient style and her ability to get key points across in a clear and understandable way and this continued when I started to train with the GB Squad.”
